Some Great Neil Peart Pics!
The Counter Parts Tour Kit |
The Point of The Journey is Not to Arrive |
The Power Windows Tour Kit. This was Neil's only use of Ludwig drums for an album and a tour. The hint of Pink was outrageous for the day. Went to a concert for this tour. |
The Presto Tour Kit. They were a deep purple (no pun intended) and this picture does not do them justice. I went to a concert for this tour. |
The R30 Tour Kit. Yup, went to this tour concert as well. This kit is black with little gold flecks throughout and the logos of all of their albums. |
Neil playing amongst The Trees |
The Roll The Bones Tour Kit. |
Beyond The Lighted Stage! Backstage view on The Snakes and Arrow Tour. Uh, huh...Saw this concert too! |

The Custom Kit DW Made For Neil for The Hockey Night Theme Song in Canada. That is nearly the same as re-writing the national anthem! |
The Most Impressive Custom Kit by DW So Far, bar none! This is The Time Machine Tour Kit. |

I got the Attached below from a favorite site of mine where I get news "left out" of the main stream media. This is very telling of the times in which we live.
Even so, come Lord Jesus, come.
Please read, comment and. send it to your contacts. This has to be stopped!!!
Our Freedoms are being taken right before our eyes! Wake up before it's too late. There was a Nazi Germany once! There were the Soviet Gulags! It's our turn to not learn from History again!
A loss for freedom of religion
Amazing that the Constitution can be so blatantly ignored. What part of: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" don't they understand? The "establishment" clause has been perversely treated but I don't see how any court can reasonably misinterpret "free exercise".
Muslims are REALLY anti-homosexual so we would just have to have one of those to enrol for a BIG backpedalling to occur

What part of: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" don't they understand? The "establishment" clause has been perversely treated but I don't see how any court can reasonably misinterpret "free exercise".
"A federal judge has ruled in favor of a public university that removed a Christian student from its graduate program in school counseling over her belief that homosexuality is morally wrong. Monday's ruling, according to Julea Ward's attorneys, could result in Christian students across the country being expelled from public university for similar views.
“It’s a very dangerous precedent,” Jeremy Tedesco, legal counsel for the conservative Alliance Defense Fund, told FOX News Radio. “The ruling doesn’t say that explicitly, but that’s what is going to happen.”
“Christian students shouldn’t be expelled for holding to and abiding by their beliefs,” said ADF senior counsel David French. “To reach its decision, the court had to do something that’s never been done in federal court: uphold an extremely broad and vague university speech code.”
Ward’s attorneys claim the university told her she would only be allowed to remain in the program if she went through a “remediation” program so that she could “see the error of her ways” and change her belief system about homosexuality.
The case is similar to a lawsuit the ADF filed against Augusta State University in Georgia. Counseling student Jennifer Keeton was allegedly told to stop sharing her Christian beliefs in order to graduate.
Tedesco said both cases should be a warning to Christians attending public colleges and universities. “Public universities are imposing the ideological stances of private groups on their students,” he said. “If you don’t comply, you will be kicked out. It’s scary stuff and it’s not a difficult thing to see what’s coming down the pike.”
The Alliance Defense Fund told FOX News it will appeal the ruling.

AMERICANS ARE NOT STUPID!
Well, it seems the Arizona Boycott is failing. Fox News reported yesterday that tourism in Arizona is up. Hotel bookings are higher than normal for this time of year where temperatures reach well into triple digits. Good news for the good people of Arizona!
Another bit of good news on the topic of Arizona; Sir Elton John has tossed his hat into the the frey as he told the audience in Tuscon the other night, that he does not "cancel a show because of politics". He also blasted other musicians for turning their stage into a platform for their politics. John also did not cancel his show in Tel Aviv as did Santana and Elvis Costello. Good for you Sir Elton! He has shown more class to those he may disagree with than the other way around. He sure proved that by accepting the job to play for Radio Talk-Show Host Rush Limbaugh's wedding last month in Florida.
On his Radio Show, Limbaugh commented on what a genuine and decent person Elton is. Contrary to what some may think about Rush and, many of his listeners; Rush said in regards to Elton John, "I don't see a gay man who is a very talented musician. I see a very talented musician who happens to be gay. His lifestyle does not have anything to do with him being the very best in his field or, how good his music is". And, I think that's how most Americans see someone like Elton John. He is the best at what he does and happens to be gay. What does his lifestyle have to do with the great music he has made for over 40 years now?
I think Americans will remember who canceled their shows and who took the high ground like Sir Elton. I know that my opinion of Elton has gone up a few points because of this and. I'm a big fan of his! You have to see him perform live to really get it. He pours his heart into every song and gives his fans a great show every night!
Sad it took a Brit to show us how to behave here in The States. THE BOYCOTT IS WRONG!!!
I AM NOT A RACIST!!!
Good night all and God Bless America!
