The Power Windows Tour Kit. This was Neil's only use of Ludwig drums for an album and a tour. The hint of Pink was outrageous for the day. Went to a concert for this tour. |

The Presto Tour Kit. They were a deep purple (no pun intended) and this picture does not do them justice. I went to a concert for this tour. |

The R30 Tour Kit. Yup, went to this tour concert as well. This kit is black with little gold flecks throughout and the logos of all of their albums. |

The white/pink/opalescent Ludwig kit with Power Windows heads was strictly for promotional pre-tour shots for Hold Your Fire; the heads and final configuration was not completed by the time of the photo shoot, so they placed the previous tour's Power Windows heads on the bass drums). Otherwise, that Ludwig kit was used for the recording and tours of Hold Youre Fire (1987-1988), Presto (Re-painted dark plum - 1989-1990) and Roll the Bones (recording only - 1991).
ReplyDeletePeart used the Candy Apple Red Tama kit for the recording and tours of Signals (1982-1983), Grace Under Pressure (1983-1984) and Power Windows (1985-1986).
The rosewood Tama kit was used on the recording and tours of Permanent Waves (1979-1980), Moving Pictures (1980-1981) and Exit Stage Left (1981).
Besides that, you have everything, mostly correct.
